Empowerment is one of the major strategies of today's organizations. This study was conducted at the passport office of Imam Khomeini International Airport to explain the methods of empowerment of passport staff in detecting and identifying fake travel documents and tried to determine the effect of three methods of empowerment including training, technical equipment, and environmental conditions on staff empowerment.
This applied and descriptive research is a survey collecting the necessary data through distributing a questionnaire among 125 officers, experts, users of border control department, and passport police at Imam Khomeini Airport. Data was analyzed using SPSS 20 software and descriptive and inferential statistics including T and Friedman tests.
The results showed that the three empowerment methods have a direct significant and ascending relationship with the empowerment of passport staff including training (x=51.9), technical equipment (x= 51.8), and environmental conditions (x=18.5) method, respectively.
